Already in 1967 artists performed their music on the street, in the park or in public places. Many successful musicians in jazz, rock and pop music, such as Paul Simon from Simon Garfunkel, started as a street musician. Every Wednesday street musicians perform new songs and old classics in front of the PalaisPopulaire on the occasion of the exhibition "summer of love".
